THE ORIGINAL FESTIVAL NANNIES

The Keepers of Calm

Mortimer Nannies have been an integral part of some of the best family festivals in the UK Since 2011, and have more than earned our title ‘The keepers of calm’.

Past and present clients include Vintage festival, Somersault, Kelvedon Bash, The Big Feastival, Wilderness, Standon-Calling, RunFestRun, Wildwood Rumpus and Elderflower Fields. Our Amazing team have cared for thousands of children, catering to the needs of the modern festival goer whilst at the same time raising tens of thousands of pounds for children’s charities. Providing each festival with a bespoke babysitting service, you can find us centrally situated under cosy canvas in the kids area with an array of toys, crafts, games, stories, movies and fun to keep the little ones entertained. We are open between the hours of 12pm – 12am (times may vary depending on the festival). We also cater for individual families and provide private ‘in tent’ Nannies. This service is hugely popular with parents of teeny ones, performers, chefs and Boutique guests. This year you will find us at Elderflower Fields, Standon Calling ,Wilderness and Stowaway festivals. Booking options below . For in tent Nannies, contact us directly for a booking form.

Our feedback speaks for itself:

"Thank you so much for making our first Wilderness such a fantastic experience and for looking after our little B so beautifully! Lauren and Kelly were absolutely amazing - calm, reassuring, friendly, knowledgeable ... and that was just with the nervous parents! Thanks to them we felt comfortable leaving B and going off for 4 wonderful hours of music, dancing and remembering why we got together. B slept through the whole thing and even slept in late the next morning. We will definitely be back next year!"

‘Such a brilliant service, thank you so much for all your help. Dependant on what baby number two is like, we hope to visit Wilderness next year and also hope to see Mortimer Nannies are still in situ!!’

“We were really impressed with your service. Firstly, that you took information on the children beforehand. The fact you were not phased that S is autistic, which made it more reassuring for us to leave him. We also liked the ratio of carers to children. I know our friends thought that too and it made it easier to leave them and enjoy a few hours off! You seemed to have made the space comfy and full of toys and the kids loved the films! Please don't scrimp on any of the above next year. We were really pleased and are thinking we might also take a few hours off one afternoon next year. We would definitely use your service again. I hope you come back next year!”

“We were really, really happy with the babysitting services over the weekend. The kids had a brilliant time and it was clear that they both felt very comfortable there and enjoyed themselves. Well done. It can’t have been an easy task. Thanks again for all your hard work. I hope the weekend was successful in raising good money for your chosen charity and that you all also enjoyed the weekend”

“The girls absolutely loved their time with you - one of the highlights of the weekend apparently - so thank you for that.”

"I am still recovering but we had a great time at Wilderness. We were very happy with the babysitters who gave us the freedom to enjoy the festival and they got on so well with the kids. We plan to be back next year and I will be in touch long ahead of time to book the sitters again.”

“first class, couldn't be happier!!”

“I was having some apprehensive thoughts about how safe T would be, and how busy the facilities would be, and I was worried if she could just wander out of the tent etc etc ( you've probably heard all these worries before). Also T was fast asleep when we dropped her off, so I then was concerned that she may wake up in a strange place with new people and be upset....well we dropped her off, it was quite busy as to be expected at the changeover time, but your nannies were attentive, had time to listen to my questions and were calmly reassuring. My husband and I sneaked back an hour later just to see if she was okay, and we saw her merrily sat outside with a small group of nannies and children, blissfully unaware of us and calmly settled in with her new friends. We were really impressed and relieved and then had a very easy few hours with our minds perfectly settled. We picked up T, who still seemed perfectly at ease and happy in your company, we were really chuffed to see she had such a good afternoon, and I was very impressed and happy with your service. Can't wait to book for next year, and hope to use you again in the future. Thanks again for granting us a peaceful few hours and for taking such good care of T!”

“S really enjoyed being with you all and I felt that you and your staff provided a safe and secure environment for her. I have never left her before at something like The Feastival before and would be happy to do it again”

“E had an absolutely fantastic stay with you - I was amazed that she just went trotting in without any concern so you obviously made her feel welcome. To be honest it was amazing for us that you were there so that we were able to enjoy the Feastival for a few hours on our own and see what we wanted to see that would have been boring for E and then we could spend the rest of the time there doing activities with her so thank you so much - I don't think we would change a thing.”
